Costume collectors, fashion lovers, and textile enthusiasts: now's your chance to own a piece of Seattle theater history! We're teaming up with 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Rep, Union Arts Center, and Pacific Northwest Ballet for a one-day sale of costumes, accessories, and supplies. With over 2,500 pieces on sale, there’s no better opportunity to score a one-of-a-kind Halloween costume or simply to add some pizzaz to your wardrobe.

Highlights include:

  • Everything from the most extravagant gowns and elaborate outfits to basic items like shirts, shoes, and hats
  • Costumes spanning time periods from the 1600s to the modern day, as well as the purely fantastical
  • The Witch’s costume from our 2016 production of Hansel and Gretel
  • The Saloon Girl outfits fromThe Ballad of Baby Doe 
  • The ball gowns from Die Fledermaus
  • Fabrics, ribbons, jewelry, and more!


Admission & Tickets

Tickets for our Costume Sale are now sold out.

We will be offering free admission starting at 2:30 PM on the day of the Costume Sale. If you would like to attend our Costume Sale and do not already have a paid entry ticket, line up for free admission will begin at 2:00 PM on the day of the sale.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How will entry be managed?
    We will allow 70–80 people to enter at a time and then more as space allows. We encourage you to line up early for your slot.
  • How much is available for sale?
    There are more than 2,500 pieces that will be for sale. There is no guarantee of what will be available in later time slots. There are no ticket refunds based on what is available at the time of entrance or for any other reason. All ticket sales are final.
  • Are there returns?
    No returns or exchanges. All sales are final.
  • What if I’m late? Will I be kicked out at the end of my timeslot?
    No. However, we will close the sale promptly at 4:30 PM for the day.
  • Is there a limit to the number of items I can purchase?
    No, but please be courteous and mindful of the many other people who are also participating in this community event. We reserve the right to ask you to return some items for sale to others.
  • What payment methods do you take?
    Credit card is preferred. We will have some change available for cash purchases.
  • Do you have bags?
    No, please bring your own bags to take things home.
  • Do you have dressing rooms?
    No, please be ready to try on any items at the racks.
  • Can we purchase tickets on site at the door?
    Day-of ticket sales will be subject to availability and venue capacity. There is no guarantee that additional tickets will be available on site at the door, so purchasing tickets in advance is highly encouraged.
  • What is the price range of items?
    Prices will start at $1 and go up from there. Custom, unique pieces will be priced accordingly.
