Prelude Dinner Menu

Prelude Brunch Menu

A special note about the menu from chef Nathan Batway

Spring is soon upon us. I am always excited about this time of year as the days only get longer and the great bounty of the Northwest begins to germinate and bloom. I have found myself really looking forward to radishes so naturally I had to feature them in our upcoming menu. Our Prelude menu this season will include a red radish soup garnished with cucumber yogurt and spring flowers. Burrata and snap pea salad is another starter that’s tops on my list. We’ll top creamy burrata with a light salad of snow peas, arugula, basil, lemon, and mint. Fresh King Salmon is back in season and prolific here in the pacific. We’ll serve grilled medallions of king salmon over baby kale and marinated artichoke hearts and finish it with lemon caper butter and ricotta salata. Brussel sprouts, always a winter favorite, are still hanging on so we’ve decided to let them join the party as well. Our Brussel sprouts will accompany a lemon tarragon chicken. We’ll griddle the chicken until crisp and roast the brussels with pickled cippolini onions and balsamic glaze. Of course we couldn’t have an opera about Steve Jobs without some apples on the menu so we’ve decided to feature a twist on an old classic, the opera cake. We, however, are going to serve an Apple Opera Cake, all puns intended of course. Layers of airy apple mousse between chocolate sponge cake, caramel mousse, and apple gelée. For those in need of a little more serious chocolate dessert were also offering a Mocha Cherry Almond Cake. House made mocha marzipan will enclose French brandied cherries, mousse, and chocolate cake.

Best to you all and please enjoy the show,

Nathan Batway
