Set Designer Obligation: Renting Company required to offer Designer a minimum engagement, terms and fees to be negotiated in good faith between the Designer and Renting Company.
Lighting Designer Royalty: Included
Lighting Designer Obligation: Renting Company required to offer Designer first opportunity to light the production or name an assistant.
Number and size of truck(s): 2 - 53' Logistic post with Air-Ride
Insured set value: $300,000.00
Load-out/in costs: Deposit of $11,000.00 required. Actual costs will be calculated and SO will invoice/refund the difference.
Technical Supervisors:
  • Provided by Seattle Opera.
  • Required for the initial load-in, set-up and load-out.
  • Expect 2 day to load-in this scenery and 1 day to strike and load-out.

NOTE: Seattle Opera requires a Technical Supervisor to be present for the initial load-in, set-up and load-out. The cost of this Supervisor is the responsibility of the renting company and consists of daily fee for work and travel days, round-trip flight, hotel and per diem. Airfare, hotel, and meal allowance are in addition to costs listed above.

NOTE:

  • Original media content is included in rental.
  • Final projected images produced with front and rear projectors, Green Hippo Critters, Zookeeper software and a GrandMA.
  • When produced by Seattle Opera there was an additional 27’ between the R/P and the projectors for rear projection.
  • Stock escapes are included in the rental if available.
  • Traveler Tracks are included in the rental if available.
  • Stock equipment is NOT included in the rental price. Stock equipment includes, but is not limited to, the following:
    • All black masking
