Tagney Jones Hall
Select events such as artist recitals, chamber operas, and talks take place at Tagney Jones Hall at the Opera Center located at 363 Mercer Street, directly next to McCaw Hall.
Please note: There are no obstructed view seats at Tagney Jones Hall. Sightlines are clear from all sections and there are no pillars or obstructions.

Seating at Tagney Jones Hall
- ADA Floor Seating / Movable Chairs – Rows A and B, main floor seating features wheelchair access and movable chairs to accommodate various needs. Here you will have a performers’ level view of the stage looking straight ahead for maximum visibility of the onstage action. The first rows of the main floor usually delight those who dare to give them a try.
- General Riser Seating – Rows C through N, contains general seating on cushioned risers with a firm cushioned backrest. This is the favorite section of many staff members!
- Mezzanine – The Upper Level of Tagney Jones Hall features seating along the side area with seatback stools. Accessible by stairs and/or the elevator.
- Main Audience Entrance – The main entrance is ADA accessible featuring street-level exterior access to the Opera Center building and Tagney Jones Hall.

About Tagney Jones Hall
Tagney Jones Hall, is an ADA accessible performance space for community and educational events, that seats more than 200 people.
■ This space includes reclaimed fir decking which was saved from the original 1930s Mercer Arena building and refinished for use on the seating risers.
■ Trees along the east side of the building were planted for the 1962 World’s Fair and were retained and nurtured
