The recipient of the prestigious 2020 Marian Anderson Award, Will Liverman is “one of the most versatile singing artist performing today” (Bachtrack). Seattle Opera audiences will remember Mr. Liverman's performance of Figaro in The Barber of Seville (2017), which was hailed as “suave and savvy” (The Seattle Times).
Mr. Liverman's program features works by Vaughan Williams, Copland, and Mendelssohn.
The partner organization for this recital is Northwest African American Museum. NAAM, a leading voice for social justice, as well as Black culture, art, and heritage in the Pacific Northwest, collaborated with other Black museums across the U.S. to launch a new website in honor of Juneteenth.
