Partner Organization:

The partner organization for this recital is the Japanese American Citizens League—Seattle Chapter (Seattle JACL). Celebrating 100 years in 2021, Seattle JACL fearlessly tackles difficult and often controversial issues surrounding the World War II incarceration of Japanese Americans, and other civil rights abuses. Recent priorities for the chapter include supporting the movement for Black lives and working to end for-profit prisons and detention centers.
