Partner Organization

With each recital, we are highlighting a partner organization making an impact in our communities. This week it’s Plymouth Housing, a nonprofit working to eliminate homelessness and address its causes. In addition to safe, quality, and supportive housing, Plymouth provides opportunities for adults experiencing homelessness to stabilize and improve their lives.

Seattle Opera will perform outside of Plymouth Housing on July 23 as part of a new initiative called Community Serenades. This new program aims to bring the joy and beauty of live music to some of our most vulnerable neighbors. Artists involved follow safety protocol and perform at a recommended distance away from viewers.

If you are enjoying our digital opera offerings, please make a donation to support the artists and staff that are collaborating to bring you opera in new ways.
