NOTE: The opening scene of this production was in modern dress, with the fairy tale as a story within the story. All characters are first in modern dress, then in fairy tale costume. We therefore have no children’s costumes for Act III, as they were dressed in their own street clothes. Also note that the role of our Witch was sung by a tenor.
