Fidelio

Beethoven's Fidelio is a timeless story of humanity versus tyranny, featuring a fearless woman who dares all for love.

Leonore's pursuit of justice takes her undercover to the prison where her husband has been wrongly jailed for his political beliefs. Posing as a man (Fidelio), she single-handedly overcomes evil, frees the shackled, and is reunited with her husband in opera's greatest hymn to freedom.
