Bio

Yoshi Tanokura’s recent design credits include Mozart’s Entführung aus dem Serail at Anchorage Opera, Verdi’s Falstaff at Opera North, and Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Suor Angelica for performances at UCLA. His work for theater includes productions for T.B.G., NYC; Passage Theatre; Berkshire Theatre Festival; Birmingham Children’s Theatre; and Connecticut Repertory Theatre. As a sketch artist and model maker, he has worked with the Production Design Group on such projects as the Oprah Winfrey Show. Current projects include Puccini’s Madama Butterfly at Center City Opera and Donizetti’s Don Pasquale for Anchorage Opera.
