Bio
Wade Madsen has been active as a choreographer, dancer, and teacher in Seattle for almost thirty years. At Seattle Opera, he has choreographed Mozart’s Don Giovanni and the Young Artists’ double bill of Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Ravel’s Enfant et les sortilèges. His choreography has been seen at Bill Evans Dance Company, with which Madsen has toured nationally, Allegro! Dance Festival, On the Boards, Spectrum Dance Theater, Seattle Shakespeare Company, ACT Theatre, and Seattle Repertory Theatre, among others. A former member of Tandy Beal & Company, Madsen performs his own work with his company, Wade Madsen and Dancers, and is on the faculty at Cornish College of the Arts.
