Scott Hogsed


American baritone Scott Hogsed made his Seattle Opera debut as Christian in Verdi’s Ballo in Maschera in 2002, the same year he made his New York City Opera debut as Dancaïre in Bizet’s Carmen. He returned to Seattle to reprise Dancaïre in 2004. Other credits for Hogsed include Count Almaviva in Mozart’s Nozze di Figaro with North Arkansas Symphony, the title role in Mozart’s Don Giovanni for Western Opera Theater Tour, Marullo in Verdi’s Rigoletto for Kentucky Opera, and Angelotti in Puccini’s Tosca for Atlanta Opera. Hogsed’s 2004/05 season includes three roles with New York City Opera.
