Priti Gandhi made her Seattle Opera debut in 2001 as the Third Wood Nymph in Dvorák’s Rusalka and has since appeared here as the Slave in Richard Strauss’s Salome, a Flower Maiden in Wagner’s Parsifal, and Echo in Richard Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos. Gandhi has sung Dorabella in Mozart’s Così fan tutte at Austin Lyric Opera, the title role of Rossini’s Cenerentola in San Diego and Dayton, and Mallika in Delibes’ Lakmè in Michigan and Tulsa. Recent roles include Rosina in Rossini’s Barbiere di Siviglia at the Caramoor International Music Festival and Mercedes in Bizet’s Carmen at New York City Opera.
