Lindsey Anderson


A native of Michigan, Lindsey Anderson received her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in music from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Her past performances include the title role of Bizet’s Carmen, La Zia Principessa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Zita in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Third Lady in Mozart’s Zauberflöte, and Ursule in Berlioz’s Béatrice et Bénédict. As a 2010 apprentice artist with Central City Opera this summer, she will perform the role of Kate Pinkerton in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly and Public Opinion in Offenbach’s Orphée aux enfers. This season she makes her Seattle Opera debut as Alisa in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor.
