Bio
Karen Kellet made her Seattle Opera debut as a choreographer for Verdi’s Falstaff. She has served as assistant director on Seattle Opera’s productions of Mozart’s Nozze di Figaro, Donizetti’s Don Pasquale, Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, and Puccini’s Madama Butterfly. In New York, she has worked with New York City Opera as well as a choreographer or performer in several Broadway productions, Radio City Music Hall, and Joseph Papp’s Public Theater. In Seattle, she has choreographed productions for ACT, Carco Theater, Civic Light Opera, Tacoma Actors Guild, and, on television, for Bill Nye Science Guy.
