Bio

Jennifer Edwards is a student at the Peabody Institute, where she has performed Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Così fan tutte and The Woman in the world premiere of Catherine Reid’s Yellow Wallpaper. Other opera credits include Lauretta in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Adele in Johann Strauss Jr.’s Fledermaus, and Monica in Menotti’s Medium. A former studio artist at New Jersey Opera, Edwards was a district winner of the 2009 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. A frequent recitalist, Edwards has sung with the Fujian Symphony in Fuzhou, China, among others. This spring she participates in the 2010 Art Song Discovery Series.
