This former member of Seattle Opera’s Young Artists Program (she sang Musetta in the Program’s production of Puccini’s Bohème in 2003) was invited back to sing in Seattle Opera’s mainstage productions as Frasquita in Bizet’s Carmen, Antonia in Offenbach’s Contes d’Hoffmann, and Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Other engagements for Heather Parker include Micaëla in Carmen for Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Tytania in Britten’s Midsummer Night’s Dream for Opera North, Susanna in Mozart’s Nozze di Figaro and Adina in Donizetti’s Elisir d’amore for Granite State Opera, and Norina in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale for Spokane Opera. For Jacksonville Symphony, she has sung Zerlina and Musetta. Parker is a three-time recipient of the Sergio Franchi Foundation award and second-place winner of the Licia Albanese–Puccini Foundation International Vocal Competition.
