David Adam Moore’s performances at Seattle Opera have included Zurga in Bizet’s Pêcheurs de perles, Guglielmo in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, and Jake Wallace in Puccini’s Fanciulla del West. Recent performances for this former Seattle Opera Young Artist include Guglielmo at Arizona Opera, Aeneas in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas at Glimmerglass Opera, Demetrius in Britten’s Midsummer Night’s Dream at Teatro alla Scala, and Marcello in Puccini’s Bohème at Pittsburgh Opera. Moore’s other performances include Cascada in Lehár’s Merry Widow and Maximilian in Bernstein’s Candide at La Scala, Maximilian at Théâtre du Châtelet, the title role in Britten’s Billy Budd in Tel Aviv and Pittsburgh, Belcore in Donizetti’s Elisir d’amore at Opera Pacific, Papageno in Mozart’s Magic Flute at New York City Opera, Prior Walter in Peter Eötvös' Angels in America in Fort Worth, Ned Keene in Britten's Peter Grimes in Tel Aviv, and the title role in Mozart’s Don Giovanni in Hannover, Kiel, and Mannheim. He will sing Mercutio in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette in San Diego and Prior Walter at the Barbican this spring, and returns to Seattle as Figaro in Rossini’s Barber of Seville in 2011.
