David Smith-Larsen


Since portraying a knight in the Opera de Bastille’s new production of Wagner’s Parsifal in 1994, David Smith-Larson has acted in many opera productions in Paris and created the role of Mustapha’s “palo enforcer” in Rossini’s Italiana in Algeri for Santa Fe Opera. He also has appeared in such international television programs as The Highlander and The Raven as well as doing extensive work in French television and movies. Smith-Larsen made his Seattle Opera debut in the roles of Lillas Pastia and guide in Bizet’s Carmen.
