A native of Binghamton, New York, Daniel Scofield is a member of Seattle Opera’s 2010/11 Young Artists Program. Scofield has performed with Opera Cleveland, Brevard Music Center, Central City Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, Augusta Opera, and, most recently, with Indianapolis Opera as their resident baritone Young Artist. Daniel has studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music, as well as at Indiana University, under the instruction of Timothy Noble. In Seattle, he performed the role of Agatha in Donizetti's Viva la Mamma! with the Young Artists Program, and made his mainstage debut in 2011 as Fiorello in Rossini’s Barber of Seville.
