Bradley Williams makes his Seattle Opera debut asArturo, a role that he has sung in Málaga, Spain, and Aberdeen, Scotland. His international appearances in more than 40 leading tenor roles include the world premiere of Bellini’s Adelsone Salvini for Catania’s Teatro Bellini; Tebaldoin Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi for Teatro Regio Torino; Ramiro in Rossini’s Cenerentola in Barcelona, Lyon, Genova, Leipzig, Marseille, and Bordeaux; Tonio in Donizetti’s Fille du regiment in Strasbourg and Sydney; Count Almaviva in Rossini’s Barbiere di Siviglia in Copenhagen and Bordeaux; Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni in Bordeaux; and Narciso in Rossini’s Turco in Italia in Marseille, Tours, and Toulon. His NorthAmerican credits include the role of Scott in theworld premiere of Stewart Wallace’s Harvey Milk for Houston Grand Opera, New York City Opera, and San Francisco Opera; Ramiro for San Diego,Baltimore, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Opera Carolina,and Arizona Opera; Almaviva for Chicago, New Orleans, and Atlanta; and Ernesto in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale for the Metropolitan Opera Guild, Edmonton, Connecticut, Lake George, Québec City, and Milwaukee. Williams is also an Associate Professor of Music in Voice at the University of Oklahoma.
