As a member of Staatstheater in Munich, Ann-Kaitrin Naidu has sung all the major mezzo-soprano roles, including Cherubino in Mozart’s Nozze di Figaro, Bizet’s Carmen, the Composer in Richard Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos, and Nicklausse and the Muse in Offenbach’s Contes d’Hoffmann. Other credits include Charlotte in Massenet’s Werther with many European companies, Wellgunde and Waltraute in Wagner’s Ring des Nibelungen at Nationaltheater Munich, and Soloist in Mahler’s Symphony no. 3 in Tokyo. She made her Seattle Opera debut in the 2005 production of Les contes d’Hoffmann.
