As a 2012/13 Seattle Opera Young Artist, Lebow will make his mainstage debut as the First Prisoner in Fidelio, as well as sing Edoardo in the YAP production of Un Giorno di Regno. Recent performances for Lebow include Il Contino Belfiore in Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera with San Francisco Opera’s Merola Young Artist Program, as well as the fugue of Verdi’s Falstaff at the Richard Tucker Foundation Gala. He has appeared as a soloist in Mozart’s Requiem and Mendelssohn’s Psalm 95 with the Bach Society of Columbia University. In the last four years Lebow made debuts in both Weill Hall (singing selections from the Brahms LiebesliederWaltzer) and in Carnegie Hall (in Mendelssohn’s Lobgesang). In November 2012, Lebow debuted with the Master Singers of Westchester singing in Haydn’s St. Cecilia Mass. As a member of the Mannes College of Music Opera Program, Lebow starred as Fenton in the 2011 production of Falstaff, as well as Ferrando in Così fan tutte in 2010. Recent accomplishments also include a scientist in Menotti’s The Last Savage with Santa Fe Opera in 2011, the encouragement award from the Gerda Lissner Foundation, semi-finalist placement in the Marcello Giordani Foundation, and regional finalist in the Metropolitan National Council Auditions.
