On Seattle Opera’s mainstage Peter Kazaras has directed Falstaff, Norma, The Marriage of Figaro, Tristan und Isolde, The Barber of Seville, and Madama Butterfly (the company's first-ever HD simulcast). As Artistic Director of Seattle Opera’s Young Artists Program, Kazaras directed productions of The Marriage of Figaro, Falstaff, Turn of the Screw, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Gianni Schicchi, L’enfant et les sortileges, Ariadne auf Naxos, Don Giovanni, and Don Pasquale. As a singer, Kazaras’s roles at Seattle Opera have included Loge in Der Ring des Nibelungen, Peter Quint in The Turn of the Screw, and Pierre Bezukhov in War and Peace. Kazaras also performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Vienna Staatsoper, Houston Grand Opera, and San Francisco Opera, among others.
