Cecelia Hall makes her Seattle Opera debut as Wellgunde in Das Rheingold and Rossweisse in Die Walküre. A recent alumna of the Ryan Opera Center at Lyric Opera of Chicago, she appeared there in Elektra, Die Zauberflöte, and Lucia di Lammermoor. She recently made her Ft. Worth Opera Festival debut as the Composer in Ariadne auf Naxos, a role she also performed at the Palau de les Arts and at the Tanglewood Music Festival. Other roles include Teseo in Handel’s Teseo at Chicago Opera Theater, Second Priestess in Iphigénie en Tauride at the Metropolitan Opera, and Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia and L’enfant in Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortileges at The Castleton Festival. Her 2013/14 season includes debuts as Dorabella in Così fan tutte with North Carolina Opera and Zerlina in Don Giovanni with Opera Philadelphia, a Spotlight Recital with The Song Continues at Carnegie Hall, and a return to Lyric Opera of Chicago to sing Annio in La clemenza di Tito.
