Pearl Potts
Choreographer
After performing with North Carolina Dance Theater for ten years, Potts moved to Europe, where she performed and choreographed for theater festivals, television, and several German state theaters, including Staatstheater Heidelberg and Staatstheater Bremen. In 1994, she joined Santa Fe Dance Theatre as a dancer and choreographer. In addition to choreographing ballets, Potts has worked on musicals, plays, and operas. Her work at Santa Fe Opera includes Gay’s Beggar’s Opera, Gilbert and Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore, and Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. Potts is the founder and director of the Children’s Dance Program in Santa Fe.
