Young Artists Program
Now in its twelfth year, Seattle Opera’s Young Artists Program provides career guidance and training for young professional singers, typically between 22 and 32 years old. This intensive 20-week production-based curriculum includes acting training, master classes, auditions, networking, and complete role study. Peter Kazaras is the Artistic Director and Brian Garman is the Music Director of this nationally-recognized program. At the culmination of the program, each Young Artist performs a complete role in a fully-produced opera with orchestra. Young Artists also have the opportunity to perform smaller roles on the Seattle Opera mainstage.
