Development Assistant - Donor Relations

Seattle Opera is accepting applications for the position of Development Assistant. This full-time, hourly position reports to the Sr. Manager Development - Donor Relations and is responsible for donor relations administration and events implementation to meet specific department and company-wide objectives.

Scope & Principal Accountabilities

Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, Business or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of work in donor-relations, events, or non-profit environment. Must have knowledge of meeting/special event planning, volunteer supervision, database management and have standard PC computer and software skills. Must be able to multi-task, have excellent communications and personal skills, a high degree of organization and professionalism, humor and patience.

Special Requirements

Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Occasional use of personal vehicle.

Salary DOE. Seattle Opera offers a generous benefit package including medical, dental, life and disability insurance as well as free parking (based on availability).
