Freelance Graphic Designer

In addition to the full-time position listed below, Seattle Opera is looking for freelance graphic design help for the 2015 summer season. Freelance work can be completed remotely but some in-person meetings are required. Projects could include advertising, outdoor campaigns, direct mail, collateral marketing pieces, digital assets, and more. Freelancers will work with Graphic Designer, Associate Director of Marketing, and selected other key personnel. Graphic Designer

Seattle Opera invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Graphic Designer. This full-time exempt position within the marketing group reports to the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications and will work with advertising managers, writers, web producers, freelance graphic designers, brand experts, and any staff requiring graphic design work. The full-time position start date is late August, 2015, however we welcome candidates who could start freelance work prior to the start date.

Financial Analyst

Seattle Opera is accepting applications for the position of Financial Analyst. This full-time, exempt position which reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for financial reporting and data analysis to support the financial management of the company. Significant role in coordination of organization-wide budget data and analytics over a multi-year time horizon. Development of analytical tools and sophisticated financial modeling in support of the SO’s strategic plan. Responsible for the preparation, analysis, and reporting of annual operating and capital expense budgets and long-range operating projections, as well as interim forecasts and final reports of budget vs. actual results.

Development Operations Manager

Seattle Opera is accepting applications for the position of Development Operations Manager. This is a full-time, salaried position within the Development Department and is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the Development department, including: data entry practices and procedures, campaign and annual giving reporting and analysis, gift processing, financial forecasting and analysis, acknowledgement and tax summary processing, and pledge billing procedures. The Development Operations Manager serves as a liaison between the Development department and the Finance, IT, and Facilities departments.
